D3 Protections flat saps are all made of the highest quality American made leather tanned by Herman Oak and are built for many years of loyal service. Flat saps consist of a flat spring with a lead ingot cast to it, This is known as the "frame". The frame is then covered with multiple layers of thick leather and sewn through all the layers.

THE STAFF OF THE SHERIFFS' RELIEF ASSOCIATION IS SADDENED TO ANNOUNCE 

THE PASSING OF RETIRED SERGEANT ROBERT L. GONZALES. HE PASSED AWAY ON MARCH 24, 2018. ROBERT JOINED THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT ON NOVEMBER 4, 1957 AND RETIRED FROM CRESCENTA VALLEY SHERIFF'S STATION ON MARCH 1, 1990.

HE WAS A VETERAN OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY.

ROBERT WAS THE DESIGNER AND PRODUCER OF THE GONZALES SAP WHICH WAS CARRIED BY MANY LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNEL FOR DECADES.
