For 5 years now D3 Protection has been a maker of hand made high quality leather goods including saps & blackjacks, and impact weapons. Ranging from key chain saps and coffin flat saps to aluminum batons. Every item is made by me David Doerr, in western Canada. Using only the finest leather and hardware available. Along with the many sizes and various models available. I also have aluminum & fine wood batons, custom made holsters,belts,wallets,purses and other items used in every day carry situations.

Customize your sap!  Select a model from the sap & blackjack page or go custom and   make it your own one of a kind. Many colors, thickness, grades and types of leather to choose from. I welcome any ideas you may have on shapes, weights, and color as they may be worked into the design.   As well be sure to check back often to see what specialty leathers have become available, as rare or hard to get leathers are very limited and will go fast.   Pure white glazed sheep skin, alligator, and snake skins add a distinct feel and look.
